Ich möchte die Rolle des Hippocampus im Gedächtnis diskutieren, seine verschiedenen Unterfelder und wie diese mit unterschiedlichen Arten von Gedächtnisprozessen zusammenhängen. Außerdem möchte ich erläutern, wie wir diese Regionen mithilfe von Neurobildgebung und Zellfärbeprotokollen untersuchen können. Darüber hinaus möchte ich auf die Konnektivität des Hippocampus eingehen, darauf, wie wichtig die Kommunikation des Hippocampus mit anderen Hirnregionen ist, was passieren kann, wenn der Hippocampus nicht richtig funktioniert, und wie die psychische Gesundheit durch Gedächtnis- und Hippocampusfunktionsstörungen beeinflusst werden kann.

What the Hippocampus can do - memory & neuroimaging

I want to discuss the role of the hippocampus in memory, its different subfields and how they are related to different types of memory processes, as well as how we can look at these regions through neuroimaging and cell staining protocols. I also want to touch on hippocampal connectivity, how important it is that the hippocampus communicates with other brain regions, what could happen if the hippocampus is not functioning well, and how mental health can be influenced by memory and hippocampal dysfunction.
