Latéralisation du langage : diversité dans le cerveau humain

Cette session mettra en lumière la latéralisation cérébrale dans les tâches fonctionnelles, ce que nous savons de la latéralisation ainsi que la diversité observée chez les humains lors de l’exécution de tâches langagières. Nous aborderons également la manière dont cette diversité peut jouer un rôle important dans la prise de décision clinique pour le traitement des patients, ainsi que son lien avec la médecine personnalisée.

Laterality in language: diversity in the human brain

This session will highlight what is brain lateralization in functional tasks, what we knew about lateralization and the diversity we can observe in humans performing language tasks. We will cover how diversity may play an important role while taking decisions in treating patients and the link to personalized medicine.

• ** Presenter: Sandrine Muller is an Assistant Professor at the Université Grenoble-Alpes
• ** Moderator: Biomedical engineer specializing in AI for medical imaging, computational modeling, and biomechanics. I have experience in clinical data processing and machine learning model development. My work focuses on producing reproducible research and applying mathematical methods to biomedical problems in collaboration with clinicians and engineers. I am currently interested in medical imaging and AI for health.
