Title: Mapping Changes of Human Brain Structures Across the Human Lifespan
Our brain, which is the most complex organ in our body, changes its structure as we grow older. Since the structure of our brain has a profound impact on how we think and behave, it’s important to know how it changes over time. In this presentation, I will explain to our young audience how we can take pictures of our living brains using MRI technology; I will talk about a recent study our group did that looked at how the brain structure changes from early childhood to late adulthood.
